Our Services – KAP
A guided, science-informed therapeutic approach designed to support deeper emotional healing, increased neuroplasticity, and lasting change.
Many individuals come to Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy after years of insight, self-work, or traditional therapy, yet still feel stuck in patterns that are difficult to fully shift.
Anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, emotional disconnection, or chronic stress can persist even when there is a strong desire for change.
KAP offers a different therapeutic approach—one that works more directly with the brain, nervous system, and emotional experience to support deeper processing and transformation.
Ketamine is used off-label for depression and other mood disorders and is not FDA-approved for these conditions. It is contraindicated for individuals with pregnancy, schizophrenia, psychosis, uncontrolled hypertension, or certain cardiovascular conditions. Risks include elevated blood pressure, dissociation, respiratory depression, and rare side effects like jaw clenching. A medical evaluation by a licensed physicians is required to ensure safety and eligibility.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) combines the therapeutic use of ketamine with guided psychotherapy in a structured and supportive setting.
Ketamine creates a temporary state of increased neuroplasticity and expanded awareness, allowing individuals to access thoughts, emotions, memories, and perspectives that may be difficult to reach through traditional talk therapy alone.
The therapeutic process helps bring meaning, integration, and lasting support to the experience.
This work is always intentional, collaborative, and grounded in safety and care.
Ketamine can temporarily increase the brain’s flexibility and openness to new perspectives and emotional processing.
During this window, long-standing patterns may become easier to explore with less emotional defensiveness or rigidity.
KAP may help individuals connect more directly with emotions, memories, or internal experiences that have felt distant, overwhelming, or difficult to fully process.
This can create opportunities for insight, release, and healing that feel difficult to access through cognitive understanding alone.
Insight alone is not the goal.
Through integration and ongoing therapeutic support, the experiences and perspectives gained during KAP sessions are thoughtfully connected to everyday life and meaningful long-term change.
Every individual’s experience is unique. KAP is not about “fixing” someone, but supporting the brain and nervous system in creating new possibilities for healing and change.
Safety, pacing, and individualized care are central to this work.
KAP is offered within a structured therapeutic process that prioritizes preparation, support, and integration.
Care is tailored thoughtfully to each individual, with attention to emotional safety, nervous system regulation, and personal readiness throughout the process.
Ketamine has been used in medical settings for decades and, when administered appropriately within a therapeutic setting, can be a safe and effective tool for certain individuals.
Experiences vary from person to person, but many individuals remain aware throughout the process while experiencing shifts in perception, emotion, or insight.
The number of sessions depends on your goals, history, and individual needs. This can be discussed during the consultation process.
No. KAP can support individuals both new to therapy and those who have already done significant personal work.
KAP is most effective when integrated within an ongoing therapeutic process that includes preparation and integration support.
